Coupons
By Riley and Olivia

Coupons are little pieces of paper that say Bonus Coupon on them. They act as the class money system. You get paid for A+ work, completing D’s, getting sick people’s homework put together, helping out around the classroom, and up-slips. Mrs. Truby’s closet is filled with candy and that’s where you can spend some of your coupons. You should always put your name on the back of your coupon in ink when you get it. You can loose coupons if you’re talking or messing around.

After Christmas, you change from coupons to a checkbook and you transfer all the coupons into real money. You make a checkbook and register. When you buy an item, you have to write a check and fill out a register. Mrs. T will have to sign your register to complete the transaction. You can find the checks and registers in the 3rd drawer of the large file cabinet.
